Design Systems Lead
Create the shared language that helps design and engineering deliver consistent products.
About the role
You will guide a focused design-system engagement spanning foundations, components, governance, and adoption.
The initial commitment is approximately 20 hours per week with meaningful overlap across the Americas.
What you'll do
- Audit product interfaces and establish a practical roadmap
- Define tokens, component patterns, documentation, and contribution models
- Align accessibility between design and implementation
- Measure adoption and remove friction for product teams
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in product design with deep systems experience
- Portfolio evidence of a system used in production
- Working understanding of frontend implementation
- Strong facilitation and documentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-brand products
- Hands-on Storybook or coded-component work
